Preparing for Disaster: Learn to Improvise!

Many Americans believe that it is important to prepare for earthquakes, tsunamis, blackouts, wars and other disasters:

After a disaster, there are not enough police to watch all the streets, so some bad people will go to stores to steal almost everything. Below is a Winn-Dixie store that was looted. After a hurricane in 2005, angry people went inside to take what they wanted without paying.

This is why knowing how to improvise is important. When they don't have something important, people who know how to improvise can use other things.
