If English is not your own language, maybe some of the words and sentences in these PDFs are not easy. Copy some difficult sentences and paste them into Google Translate. Computer translation makes many mistakes, but Google can give you a little help.

You should also look up common words in a good learner's dictionary, such as the Macmillan Essential Dictionary. Crossed-out words are difficult and not necessary. You can guess some of these when you look at their neighbors. If you see too many new words, only look up a few two star (**) and three star (***) words. This way you won't be bored!
